EastEnders star Jessie Wallace brands Jacqueline Jossa ‘gorgeous’ in tribute to ‘family’

EastEnders star Jessie Wallace has branded Jacqueline Jossa ‘gorgeous’ in a tribute to her onscreen ‘family’.

Jessie shared her first scenes in over two decades with Michelle Ryan last week following Zoe Slater’s return to Walford.
The reunion between Zoe and her mum Kat Slater didn’t go as planned, with the former still resentful that she was tricked into thinking they were siblings for most of her life.
Eventually appearing to be back on the same page, viewers were left stunned when Zoe was accidentally shot by Jack Branning and Ravi Gulati.
However, it soon emerged that not only had Zoe given birth to twins back in 2006, but she had engaged in an affair with Max Branning earlier in the year.
Kat is keen for them to finally have a mother and daughter relationship, while Zoe is too caught up with fearing a deadly figure from her past is to blame for her injuries.
Away from the drama, Jessie and Michelle headed to London on Wednesday night (September 10) for the annual National Television Awards.

The pair were tasked with reading the results of the Best Serial Drama award, which went to Phil Mitchell actor Steve McFadden.

In another successful night for the soap in its 40th anniversary year, EastEnders won Best Serial drama over Coronation Street, Emmerdale, Casualty and Hollyoaks at the end of the evening.
Taking to Instagram on Friday (September 12), Jessie shared snaps from her night out, including one of her, Michelle and Steve posing with his NTA award.
Other pictures from the post saw Kat posing with Priya Nandra-Hart’s Sophie Khan Levy, Kathy Beale’s Gillian Taylforth and Harry Mitchell actor Elijah Holloway.
Jessie captioned the post: “What a great night! Thank you to everyone who voted for @bbceastenders and my pal Steve and the gorgeous @jacjossa you are AMAZING!
“Love all me EE faaaaaaamily and thank you @gigisdressingrm for my beautiful dress.”
The comments section of Jessie’s post saw a number of her famous friends and co-stars wishing her well as they continued to bask in the soap’s success.
