Emmerdale’s Laura Norton praises co-stars in ‘thank you’ amid ‘wonderful’ cause
The Kerry Wyatt actress welcomed her Dales friends to the Cure Usher ball to raise awareness for the cause close to her heart.
Emmerdale’s Laura Norton thanked co-stars for supporting her as the Cure Usher ball took place in Manchester.

Actress Laura Norton joined the ITV soap in 2012 and took on the role of Kerry Wyatt. She joined the soap as the estranged mother of Amy Wyatt who was later adopted by by Val and Eric Pollard.
Fans will remember that Amy was one of the three confirmed deaths in the limo crash earlier this year, along with Suzy Merton and Leyla Harding.
In terms of her personal life, Laura met her now fiancé Mark Jordon on the set of Emmerdale back in 2015, with the couple starting to date shortly after.
Viewers may recall that Mark also starred on Emmerdale in the role of Daz Spencer before he left in 2019.
The couple share two children together, their son Jesse and daughter Ronnie. At the time of Ronnie’s birth, Laura wrote: “She’s here!!!! We’ve baked another belta. This little superstar joined us on Mon 17th October. She’s dead clever and a tiny little bundle of joy and beauty.”

Unfortunately, the pair have revealed that both of their children suffer from the same condition, Usher syndrome, which causes impairments to hearing and vision.
Laura and Mark have continuously expressed their dedication to finding a cure, and work closely with charity Cure Usher who was founded by Jo Milne.

Over the weekend, Manchester welcomed the Cure Usher ball – an event created to raise awareness and money for the charity fundraiser.
The actress has previously shared: “In the beginning, it was about our babies. And then you meet other families going through the same thing and it becomes about everyone else.
“It’s such a rare condition and so many people have never heard of it and this community deserves to have people fighting for them and helping raise funds.”

Laura and Mark were joined by many of their Emmerdale co-stars. Taking to her Instagram, Laura thanked people for attending the event.
Amy Walsh wrote: “These two just amaze me. We love you so much!” to which Laura responded: “Love you mama”. Lisa Riley then posed on the carpet alongside partner Al, and Laura penned: “Interlinking. Thankyou.”
