Coronation Street fans are speculating that Becky Swain has another daughter who is already known to viewers.
Becky (Amy Cudden) made her first appearance on the ITV soap this month as the presumed deceased wife of Lisa Swain (Vicky Myers). It was reported that police officer Becky was killed in 2021 after pursuing a criminal who ran her over during their escape.
Since then, Lisa and her daughter Betsy (Sydney Martin) have been trying to move forward while still mourning Becky’s loss. Last month, Lisa became engaged to Carla Connor (Alison King), and everything seemed to be going swimmingly for the loved-up pair.
However, it transpired that Becky is actually alive, and she made her shocking return last week, much to Lisa’s astonishment. Becky explained that she ‘had to die’ so she could enter witness protection following a botched undercover operation, reports the Daily Star.

Despite Lisa’s wishes for Betsy not to learn the truth, the teenager eventually found out that her mum had been alive all along, leaving her overwhelmed with emotion.
In Friday’s episode (19 September), Becky was at Lisa and Carla’s house – but to her disappointment, an emotional Betsy told her she didn’t want to see her for now.

Moreover, later in the episode, the soap appeared to confirm that Becky was still concealing something significant from Lisa when she was questioned by her ex about the witness protection paperwork. Becky evaded the question and looked uncomfortable, leaving Lisa suspicious.
