EastEnders star Michelle Ryan says ‘wow’ in major tease for BBC soap’s Christmas plans
EastEnders star Michelle Ryan has said ‘wow’ in a major tease for the BBC soap’s Christmas plans.
As fans of the popular BBC soap all know, Christmas is anything but quiet for the residents of Albert Square.
Cindy Beale was the centre of the drama during the festive season last year, when her affair with George Knight’s son Junior was exposed.
Kicked out of the Queen Vic, Cindy was left for dead after being attacked with a shovel, with Kathy Beale revealed to be her attacker during the programme’s 40th anniversary week.

The year before this marked the beginning of the ‘the Six’ saga, when Linda Carter murdered Sharon Watt’s partner Keanu Taylor.
With this year marking Executive Producer Ben Wadey’s first Christmas as EastEnders boss, it appears fans will be glued to their screens once again on December 25.

Zoe Slater is the talk of Walford at the minute, with Michelle Ryan’s character causing lots of drama since arriving back for the first time in 25 years.
To date Zoe has been shot by Jack Branning and Ravi Gulati, in searching for her son, and was revealed to have had an affair earlier in the year with Max Branning.
Things don’t look like they’ll slow down with Zoe, who claimed last week that Sharon Watts’ late husband Dennis Rickman is her twins’ father.
Taking to Instagram over the weekend, Michelle provided an insight into what fans can expect over the coming months.
She teased alongside a picture of the sky: “Looking over the Christmas episodes and separating out scripts for the coming week.
“No spoilers alert. Wow. Well done to the writer Lauren! So exciting!!”
The comments section of Michelle’s post saw EastEnders fans having their say about the Christmas plans and sharing their hopes.
Meanwhile, Executive Producer Ben recently revealed at the National Television Awards that he’s already working hard on the episode.
“The team have really brought their A-game. This Christmas, we’re looking at the past, present and future, so we’ve got a lot of stuff that we’re very excited to share with the audience,” he noted.
