Former EastEnders star James Bye’s wife has joked that she’s now ‘besties’ with a Rolling Stones icon after having a shock encounter.

Victoria Bye’s interaction with a music legend arrived after she was admitted to hospital last month as a result of her endometriosis.
According to the NHS, endometriosis is where cells similar to those in the lining of the womb (uterus) grow in other parts of the body. Symptoms include severe period pain that ‘stops you from doing your normal activities’, heavy periods and pain when going to the toilet.
She said in a video from her hospital bed: “The endometriosis strikes again. Which is fine, it’s not fine, it’s bloody awful, but woman’s life.
“Still got the anaesthetic going strong and now having a cup of sweet tea because I truly believe that’s the answer to all life’s problems. A cup of tea, one sugar. I’m going to have a little nap because to be honest it’s just nice having a break from the kids. I can’t laugh too much, it hurts.”
Victoria has been married to former Martin Fowler actor James since 2012, going on to have four young sons together; Edward, ten, Louis, eight, Hugo, five, and Rufus, one.
During the summer, James was joined by Victoria and their children as they travelled the UK for the actor’s new play Death Comes to Pemberley, where he plays the part of Mr Darcy.

With the play currently in London, Victoria shared that a trip to Richmond saw her cross paths with none other than Mick Jagger.

She shared on Instagram: “So I had to share this with you… because I’m now besties with an actual Rolling Stone apparently… (not sure Mick knows this but anyway!). Right, back to the beginning!
“So. There I was, just casually wandering through Richmond (you know, as you do when your hubby’s treading the boards at the theatre and you’re there to “support” him by browsing the shops).
“I’d managed to wangle a night off from the rabble and was enjoying a lovely old time of it. Meandering through the gorgeous pubs spilling out onto the green, browsing the shops so dreamy you’d need to sell a kidney to shop at and – be still my heart – hanging out in the very backdrop of Ted Lasso.”
After taking part in some ‘world-class window shopping’, Victoria couldn’t believe her eyes after making ‘an emergency pit stop for some chips and a swift drink’.
“In wobbles a fella who was several g&ts ahead of the rest of us. Noticing him starting to get a bit… lary and not fancying a full-blown EastEnders scene, I made a tactical exit – head down, power walk on – straight into what I can only describe as a human mountain.
“As I mumbled my apologies and brushed a stray chip off his shoulder, he turned, opened a car door and – no word of a lie – out steps Mick. Actual. Jagger. I know. So yes, a fairly standard night in Richmond apparently.
“And then it was back to the theatre to watch my hubby take his bow for the final week of tour, before rounding things off with more chips on the way home. (Because I threw most of mine on my mate Mick – reckon that restraining order will be arriving any day…),” she recalled.
Saying that she had her ‘night officially made’ by meeting Mick, Victoria’s followers took to her comments section to have their say on her story.
@tapgoo said: “Wow Mick Jagger! Did he know who you are?!! Remember going ice skating in Richmond years ago. What a memory for you.” @inspiration_coachingandsupport added: “Who would have thought you would go from little old Stockport to meeting Mick Jagger in Richmond.”
